These roles were then to be organized within the company&#8217;s &#8220;Business Units.&#8221; Everything then had to be viewed and refined for reporting purposes by the HR department.<\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-69104 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/tmp2F_Sofia_Martuscelli_Cpl-Scrin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/tmp2F_Sofia_Martuscelli_Cpl-Scrin.png 1000w, https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/tmp2F_Sofia_Martuscelli_Cpl-Scrin-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/tmp2F_Sofia_Martuscelli_Cpl-Scrin-768x384.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/div>\n<h2><strong>The Solution: A flexible and precise skills management system<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">CPL Concordia has chosen Totara Perform to manage the skills of its resources in the most flexible, precise and effective way possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">MediaTouch developed a comprehensive, highly customized skills management, monitoring and reporting system for this project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">Building on the roles and skills framework established by CPL Concordia, which was initially managed through cumbersome and time-consuming Excel sheets, MediaTouch created the CPL Suite, a new skills assessment system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">The CPL evaluation system, integrated with the Totara Learn Learning Management System, enables the analytical and detailed management of skills through two levels of evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \"><strong>Personal evaluation (self-assessment)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \"><strong>Direct manager evaluation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">Additionally, the HR supervisor plays a key role by presenting the results and facilitating their analysis.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-69995\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/CPL-concordia-lms-totara-report.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"694\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/CPL-concordia-lms-totara-report.png 1024w, https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/CPL-concordia-lms-totara-report-300x203.png 300w, https:\/\/staging.totara.fortyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/CPL-concordia-lms-totara-report-768x521.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Results: A streamlined and insightful evaluation process<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">The key outcomes of the project were the creation of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">a <strong>massive<\/strong> <strong>tool<\/strong> for uploading user data in terms of:\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">role being evaluated<\/li>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">minimum expected value<\/li>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">priority level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">the automatic creation, sending notifications, of <strong>Perform<\/strong> <strong>Appraisal<\/strong> activity sheets for performance evaluation with:\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">user self-assessment<\/li>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">direct manager evaluation<\/li>\n<li class=\"ewa-rteLine \">overall verification by the HR Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>automatic generation of reports<\/strong> upon completion of the Appraisal activities in:\n<ul>\n<li>excel format reports, for analysis and insights by the HR manager<\/li>\n<li>pdf reports with calculated skill scores based on the criteria defined during the preliminary analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">Additionally, special attention was given to the PDF report generated for each user following the self-assessment phase and the evaluation provided by their manager.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine \">The report is visually designed with color graphics to present all the necessary information for archiving.
