It\u00a0has been a part of the Legrand Group since 1989. Bticino Mexico has over 600 employees in Mexico and more than 33,000 employees around the world.<\/p>\n<h3>The Challenge<\/h3>\n<p>Bticino Mexico needed\u00a0a solution ensure that its training and information was available 24\/7\/365 to all of its employees,\u00a0regardless of location. It needed an LMS to maintain\u00a0prestige and quality of training, deliver great functionality and ensure confidence, with a focus on product knowledge and management training.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Totara is different because it is an open source LMS built for enterprises.\u00a0Aura Interactiva with Totara Learn gives the coverage, stability for\u00a0our courses\u00a0and cost reduction.&#8221; <strong>&#8211;\u00a0Gerardo Amores, Bticino University Leader<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>They needed to train a large number of employees quickly, consistently, and profitably:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retail companies have always needed to schedule a sizeable batch of customers and sales and channel partners to demonstrate new products.<\/li>\n<li>In 2014, BTICINO Mexico decided to experiment with mobile training courses. The goal was to deliver just in time product training to geographically dispersed audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The Solutio<\/h3>\n<p>Aura Interactiva, Totara Partner, worked with Bticino to develop a <a href=\"\/products\/totara-learn\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"cc27e042-e65c-4557-8379-2643e3bdcc0f\">customised Totara Lear<\/a> solution in under a month.\u00a0The speed of development was helped by Bticino&#8217;s existing familiarity with learning management systems.\u00a0The look and feel was customised to ensure it reflected the Bticino look and feel.Aura Interactiva also created a set of custom reports to ensure Bticino could access the reporting data they needed to have confidence in course completion and compliance.&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Bticino_lms.jpeg\" \/>&nbsp;As well as this, Bticino\u00a0used Aura&#8217;s eLearning authoring tool to implement a Mobile Learning Strategy. Since the training was for mobile users, the eLearning courses were chunked into short, manageable topics, distilled down to the most important facts. They used a responsive design approach leveraging SHIFT\u2019s HTML5 development platform. This meant that the same course could be viewed on any device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop).<\/p>\n<h3>The Results<\/h3>\n<p>Moving to Totara Learn has reduced training costs and improved access and convenience for Bticino and its employees, as well as providing an on-brand experience and flexible training model.&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Bticino_lms_results.png\" \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;With these tools in place, our sales and channel partners hear about the products offered, as well as their benefits and features in a timely manner.
