Washington, D.C., November 21, 2024 — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced a partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to extend access to the AgLearn program, USDA’s learning management shared services offering powered by TotaraGov. This collaboration enables HHS to leverage a proven, secure, centralized platform for managing training and compliance initiatives, fostering a high-performing, mission-focused federal workforce.
AgLearn, USDA’s official system of record for training since 2004, has transformed into a Shared Services offering providing access to a FedRAMP® Authorized Learning Management System, Program Management, Content Development, 508 Compliance Testing, Tier 1 & 2 Support as well as Marketing and Communications services. The platform’s accessibility and scalability make it an ideal solution for agencies across the federal government. The AgLearn Program has helped the USDA and its partners advance a high-quality, consistent approach to workforce development while maximizing agency investment.
Through this partnership, HHS will benefit from USDA’s experience as a Shared Services Provider, which, using Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA) allows federal organizations to efficiently access AgLearn’s robust offering through an efficient and expedient agreement process. This innovative approach allows USDA to provide high-quality LMS services directly to other agencies, enhancing workforce development across the government.
