9 Totara Partners accelerate adoption of open learning platforms at Learning Technologies 2019

Nine Totara Partners will be representing open learning platform experts Totara Learning at Learning Technologies 2019, taking place for the first time at ExCeL London on 13th and 14th February.

This year, Totara Partners will showcase the freedom to learn through the use of flexible, open learning technologies, with experts available across all partner stands throughout both days of the event.

  • How Envigo embraced the freedom to innovate with Totara Learn

    Envigo needed a flexible, mobile-friendly LMS to replace their multiple existing systems.   • Avoiding buyer’s remorse – how to avoid procurement failure and deliver lasting value

    Performance management today focuses on compliance and policing instead of engagement, alignment and increased human capital. This session will look at how to use Totara Learn to streamline the appraisal process and improve performance management throughout the organisation.

  • Understanding the open e-learning ecosystem with Moodle and Totara
    Brian Carlson, CEO and Co-founder, eThink Education

    In this session, Brian Carlson, CEO and Co-founder of Global Totara Partner of the Year eThink Education will shine a spotlight on open source learning technologies. He will highlight the key differences between Moodle and Totara Learn, highlight why so many organisations are making the switch from proprietary to open source solutions and demonstrate the importance of open source for a sustainable e-learning ecosystem.

  • Death to default design
    Phill Hendry, Lead UX Designer, Synergy Learning
    2.45-3.15pm, 14th February 2019, Theatre 9
    This session will focus on why design is so important, how to make the most of it and how to avoid falling back on old habits, including a showcase of some of Synergy Learning’s best design and UX applied to their Totara Learn projects. This is an opportunity to help you hone your design thinking skills and to design more user-centric learning experiences.
